Taramandal show starts with the description of the
Chandrayaan mission to the moon. The Taramandal show explains every point to
visitors in a very common language. The show explains space and the star’s
structure to visitors.

  • Nakshatrashala organizes four shows in a day.
  • Nakshatrashala showtime starts at 01:00 pm, 02:30 pm, 04:00
    pm, and 05:00 pm.
  • If there are a hundred or more visitors come into the group then
    Nakshatrashala can organize an additional show between 10:30 am to 12:15 pm.
  • In the summer vacation time of children, Planetarium can organize an
    extra show at 06:00 pm.


Note:

  • All shows are in Hindi except the first show of Saturday and Sunday
    in English.
  • Nakshatrashala closed on Monday only. It opens on
    Sunday.

Comparing to an interesting Astronomy shows here the ticket price of Nakshatra Shala is affordable for anyone. Indira
Gandhi Planetarium Lucknow ticket prices are also very low for students and
free for physically challenged persons.

  • For normal visitors, the ticket price for entrance is only ₹ 25/- per
    visitor.
  • If visitors or students come in a group of a minimum of 30 members then the
    ticket price for entrance is only ₹ 10/- per visitor.
  • For the kids up to 3 years and for handicapped (physically challenged
    persons) there is no entry ticket. They can enjoy the Nakshatrashala show free
    of cost.

Note: Physically challenged persons have to show certificates.

Lucknow is the capital of Uttar Pradesh so reaching Lucknow is not a
tough job for any city of India. You can easily reach here by train, bus or by
air. In Lucknow, it is situated at Nabi Ullah Road, Suraj Kund Park, Near Dali
Ganj Bridge, Lucknow.

To reach Indira Gandhi Planetarium you can take a private
taxi, auto, and cab from the railway station, Bus stand, or from the airport.

It is about 5 km from the Lucknow Charbagh
railway station. You can reach there by Lucknow local city bus also. Auto or
Vikram also you get easily from Nishatganj in Lucknow for Chowk route. They can
drop you near the Planetarium.
